I'm trying to figure out how to cut a large quantity of 1cm x 1cm x 1cm cubes. Can anyone share their methods or tips for achieving this accurately and efficiently?

First off, check what tools you have available. A good method is to resaw a board down to about 1cm thick using a bandsaw, then plane it to the exact thickness. After that, you can use a table saw to rip 1cm wide strips. A cross cut sled with a stop block on the table saw will help you cut those strips into perfect cubes. It's pretty safe and effective! Plus, don’t forget that setting the block at a slight angle can prevent small pieces from getting stuck after being cut, making your job smoother.

Totally agree, using a crosscut sled is a solid choice for this! It's much safer.

That’s a great tip about the angled edge! I had the same issue recently with my blocks getting damaged. It’s good to know I’m not alone in that!

I'd suggest doing it all on the bandsaw instead of a table saw. It can reduce kerf waste and lower the risk of damaging the cubes during the process. Also, just curious, how many of these cubes are you planning to make? I've seen packs of 500 for about $10 online, which might save you some hassle!

I’m actually trying to make around a hundred cubes for a project. Might look into those packs if it’s cheaper!
