I have a 900 square foot concrete floor in a rental unit that needs some love. I'm looking for quick, cost-effective solutions to cover, refinish, or repaint it to improve its appearance. Do you have any recommendations? Also, what might be the approximate costs for these options?

Vinyl sheet flooring could be an excellent choice for you. It's one of the cheapest options out there and comes in a variety of styles that mimic wood, tile, or stone. I put it in my basement, and it looks fantastic without breaking the bank!
If you have the option to do the work yourself, consider using wood-look tile. It's affordable and typically costs under $1 per square foot when you buy in bulk. Plus, it's a great choice for moisture management! Just make sure you have the right tools for installation.
I do have labor available! What brand or type of wood-look tile are you using? I'm worried about removing it later - could it damage the concrete underneath?

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely check out vinyl options!
