When’s the Right Time to Start Working on My Lawn This Year?

Hey everyone! I'm new to lawn care and I'm thinking of starting some maintenance work like scarifying, aerating, reseeding, and feeding in about two or three weeks. I already did some cleaning up at the end of September but I want to get another round of care in. What do you all think? Is it too early or just right?

I think it's best to wait a bit longer. I usually wait until the end of the month to start my lawn work because it can still be pretty chilly right now with those frosty mornings. It's not worth the risk just yet.

I work on an estate, and I typically wait until most of the frosty mornings are done before I start cutting or feeding the lawns. It just makes sense to be patient this time of year.

I actually just started today! It felt like the right moment after seeing my seeds and pots, but I might be jumping the gun. At least now I feel like I've tackled a part of the garden that was stressing me out, so it’s something!

I was thinking about getting started this week too but had to defrost my car this morning! Definitely a bit chilly still.
