Has anyone worked in landscaping or maintenance at a golf course or country club? I'm curious about what it's really like. I've heard a mix of opinions—some people say it's steady work while others complain about poor pay and tough hours. I want to know from those who have actually done it:
- How was the pay? Did they treat their workers well or cut corners?
- What were the hours like? Early mornings or extra unpaid time?
- Was management friendly, or was it all about keeping the members happy?
- Did you receive benefits, or was it just seasonal work?
- For those on an H-2B visa, how was your housing and treatment?
- Any strange rules about where workers could go on the course?
Overall, would you recommend working at a golf course, or is it just another job relying on underpaid labor?

I worked at my country club, and honestly, the pay was decent, considering it’s year-round work. You won’t get rich, but it's steady. The hours can be a bit rough since the club is closed on Mondays, so even if you're not working, you might feel tied down. However, if you're aiming for a long-term role or even aspire to be head of maintenance, there's definitely room for advancement—my friend started there and now travels for PGA events!

That’s good to know! Sounds like it can lead to something bigger if you stick with it. Thanks for sharing!
