What Could Be Causing My Rheem Furnace to Cycle On and Off?

Hey everyone! I had a Rheem furnace installed less than a year ago, and I've recently noticed that it runs, then turns off, and surprisingly turns back on just a few minutes later. Is this a common issue? Any ideas on what might be causing it? I'd really like to avoid calling a technician if it's something simple. Thanks!

First things first, make sure to change your air filter. It's a simple fix that can improve air flow. Also, check all your vents to ensure they’re open and clear. And don’t forget about your furnace exhaust or intake – blocking either can cause issues!

It’s not uncommon for the blower to run even when the heat fluctuates a bit. It could just be residual heat after the furnace shuts off. If you’re still feeling hot air, that’s a good sign!

It sounds like it could be related to the thermostat. If the installers didn't handle it and it’s not a furnace installation issue, they might charge you for a visit. Have you checked what kind of thermostat you have? It could make a difference!

I haven't checked the thermostat model yet, but I'll look into it. Thanks for the tip!
