Hey everyone! I'm a carpenter looking to get a solid SDS (rotary hammer) for work. I'd love to hear your recommendations on which models are the best and what features I should be looking for. Any insights would be great!

Thanks for the recommendations, everyone! I'm definitely leaning towards the DCH293 based on what you guys said.
I’d recommend checking out the DCH293. It’s super powerful, hitting as hard as a corded bulldog, which is great for tough jobs. Plus, if you can, aim for a 3-mode model - it helps with light chipping too. Having an accessory chuck is a bonus for running big hole saws without worrying about safety. Very handy!
The DCH73 is a fantastic option! It’s lightweight, very powerful for its size, and has 3 modes, so you can handle light chipping. It works well for holes 1/2" and can manage up to 1" if needed. Plus, you can get it with an OSHA-compliant dust extractor that runs on the same battery, which is great if dust control is important to you.

That sounds like a solid choice! I’ve heard good things about it from other pros too.
