I'm curious if the M12 Fuel 3/8 Stubby Impact has ever dropped below the $199 price tag in retail stores. I don't urgently need it right now, but I'm considering it for tire changes, brake jobs, and tackling stubborn bolts on my project car. I've spotted one at my local Home Depot and I want to know if it's worth waiting for a potential deal.

Yes, it definitely has been on sale before! I snagged mine back in December for about $155 with a charger included. I've seen it drop in price a couple of times monthly, so keep an eye out for deals—it seems like they pop up regularly.
Honestly, just go for it! It's a fantastic tool. If you’re already eyeing it, taking the plunge might be worth it instead of waiting for a deal that may or may not happen.
I'm in the same boat here. I’m going to use your advice and just tell my wife "just buy it!" ?
I haven't really seen the Gen 2 model go on sale much, but it's absolutely worth the price if you can find it. I bought it at full price and I’ve never regretted it; it’s now my go-to for everything under 22mm. By the way, if you’re doing tire changes, you might want to consider the 1/2 model instead.
I’ve had no problems using my 3/8 Stubby with a 1/2 adapter for tire changes. My lugs are set at 90 lbft, and it gets them off without any issues!

Really? I must've missed those sales, thanks for the heads-up!
