Hey everyone! I'm in the process of installing ceiling insulation in a house built in the 1970s and I've come across mixed advice about whether I need to install baffles. I have two gable vents on opposite sides of the house and two turbine vents aligned with them. Plus, I've got eave vents set up between a few rafters. I'm trying to figure out if I should install baffles between each rafter, just at the eave vent locations, or if I can skip them altogether. Any guidance would be appreciated! Here are some photos of my vents for more context: [Photos](https://imgur.com/a/UdLZ1A8).

If your low intake vents are part of a boxed soffit, you definitely want to put baffles between every rafter. This way, the air can flow easily from those vents into the rafter spaces without any blockage. On the other hand, if the vents are part of a vertical bird block, you’ll only need a baffle at that specific bird block area. So it sounds like you might need baffles between all the rafters!

Thanks for the clarification! I added some photos to show exactly what I’m dealing with. I believe the vents are indeed a bird block. I’ll check in at Home Depot for baffle recommendations for my rafters.
