Hey everyone! I'm just starting out with woodworking after taking a ten-week class where I built a side table, and I really enjoyed the process. I'm a complete newbie but passionate about DIY and have been collecting a few tools over time. Space is a bit tight for me, but I'm eager to dive deeper into woodworking. I highly recommend checking out Tom McLaughlin's site. He has a lot of great tutorials that break down the process really well. I discovered him recently, and his YouTube videos are super helpful for understanding woodworking techniques.
There are tons of great YouTube channels dedicated to woodworking! It's a fantastic resource for beginners. Just search for beginner woodworking projects, and you'll find so many options to kickstart your journey.
YouTube is definitely a goldmine for free projects, but don’t forget about print magazines too! Titles like Wood, Woodsmith, and Fine Woodworking offer great inspiration and detailed guides, even if you have to pay for them.
