I've become a total houseplant enthusiast over the past three years, collecting various plants since moving to my new place. Luckily, I've avoided most pests and diseases so far, but I think I might have just introduced thrips with a new peace lily from Home Depot. I've also noticed some potential fungal issues with my prized variegated ring of fire philodendron. Now, I'm trying to build a comprehensive kit with all the essential treatments I might need for future plant care emergencies. I'd love to hear about what products you all keep on hand for insecticides, fungicides, and other treatments. Thanks a ton!

For fungal infections, copper fungicide is the go-to treatment, and I highly recommend Captain Jack's brand. It's effective for foliar treatment and can help with root issues after you clean out root rot. Additionally, for pest problems like mealybugs or scale, Bonide systemic granules work well. If you're facing fungus gnats, Gnatrol is a great larvicide that should do the trick in just two weeks!
