I've seen a lot of YouTube videos claiming you can manage a garden in just four hours a week, but I wonder if that's true. I'm really interested in starting my own fruit and vegetable garden, but I don't want it to turn into a second job. Is it realistic to maintain a garden with that limited time commitment?

It's totally possible! I mulch my no-till garden and generally spend about 15 minutes a week on my veggie patch. During harvest season, it takes a bit more effort, but if you plan right, you can keep your time low without sacrificing results.
Once you get the hang of it, you’ll find that it takes much less time than you'd expect. I spend about 6 hours a week from May to October, mostly on watering and harvesting. But with automation and proper setup, you can cut that down significantly. Gardening can be a fun hobby, and not just a chore!
You can definitely have a 4-hour-a-week garden! The key is to set boundaries—stick to your 4 hours and don’t get too caught up. A friend of mine keeps it simple and plans her tasks to avoid long hours, and it's really effective.

Sounds easy enough! Do you have any tips for getting started without making it overwhelming?
