Why Isn’t My Black Jack Drying on My Balcony?

Asked By User1234! On

I'm a total beginner with DIY projects and I'm having trouble with my balcony. It was leaking into the bedroom below, so I removed the paving slabs, cleaned the surface, and dried everything out. I applied a thick layer of Black Jack without mixing it properly, and now, 48 hours later, it's still not dried or cured. Should I give it more time? Can I apply a second coat while it's still wet, or should I call a professional for help? Any advice would be appreciated!

The drying time for Black Jack can really depend on the weather. If it's cold or humid, it may take longer to set. You might want to wait a full week to see if it cures first before trying anything else.

Yeah, another thing to consider is the thickness of the layer you applied. If it's too thick, it can stay wet forever. Keep an eye on the weather conditions, and maybe just give it some more time first.
