Why Are My Tomato Seedlings Wilting After Repotting?

I just repotted my tomato seedlings, which are about 10 inches tall, into larger pots. Since then, I've noticed that their leaves are starting to wilt, although the main stem is still upright. Is this a normal reaction, or should I be worried that they're dying? Thanks for any advice!

Don't stress too much; it’s likely just transplant shock. Tomato plants are pretty tough and usually bounce back after a bit. Give them some time to adjust, and they should recover just fine!

When you repotted them, did you bury them deeper? If you planted them up to their first true leaves, that's actually a good thing. Tomatoes can create new roots from the tiny hairs on their stems when they're buried in soil. Just be mindful about sun exposure; if they're in direct sunlight right after transplanting, they might get stressed. Keep an eye on them!
