I've been having an issue with my 6Ah Flexvolt battery. Whenever I put it in the charger, the light goes solid red, as if it's done charging. However, when I check the voltage, each cell shows about 3.5V, but cells C1 and C3 have next to no voltage. This battery has powered my 60V reciprocating saw and circular saw without issues, as well as my 20V drill and lights—though strangely, it doesn't work with my vacuum. Any ideas on what could be wrong or potential fixes? Just to note, this battery is from 2016, so I'm out of warranty.

Just a heads up, batteries do wear out, especially at around 8 to 9 years old. They’re like car batteries—sometimes they’re fine one moment and then suddenly fail. Even if you've got other batteries in the same batch, it doesn't guarantee they’ll all last the same amount of time.
It sounds like your battery might be toast if some cells are showing almost no voltage. You could look into having it rebuilt, but honestly, you’d probably be better off just getting a new one. The rebuilding process isn't easy for beginners and could end up costing you more than a new battery would!
Yeah, if the voltage is that low, it's pretty much done for. I’ve seen people try to fix these, but unless you have experience and the right tools, it’s not worth the hassle. Recycling it might be the way to go.

That’s true! I have four other 6Ah Flexvolt batteries from the same time, and luckily they’re all still working great. Just a fluke, I guess.
