Hey everyone! I'm on the lookout for some affordable indoor plants that can add a splash of color to my collection. I currently own an inch plant and a begonia rex, plus a ton of green plants like snake plants and dieffenbachia. I've also got a couple of pink princess philodendrons and a white knight philodendron. What vibrant houseplants can I find for $20 or less?

Also, if you have some succulents, remember that giving them more light can really help them show off their colors! Just be careful not to overdo it, you know?
Here are some more colorful options for your collection:
- Aglaonemas
- Caladiums
- Mandarin Spider Plant
- Philodendron Prince of Orange
- Nerve Plant
- Purple Velvet Plant
- And a lot of succulents show vibrant colors if you give them enough light!
You should definitely check out crotons! They can bring some vibrant colors to your space. Just a heads up though, make sure to wear gloves when handling them; I learned that the hard way and ended up with a nasty rash!
If you're in the US, red oxalis, also known as 'shamrock' plants, are all the rage right now for St. Patrick's Day. After the holiday, you might even snag them at a discounted price. Also, consider coleus and begonias—they come in tons of colors and are great indoor plants!

Ouch, that sounds rough! Thanks for the warning!
