I've noticed some algae growing on one side of my house, and I'm looking for effective ways to clean it off. What methods work best?

I usually deal with algae on the back of my garage. A simple solution is just filling a bucket with dish soap and scrubbing it off using a rag. It works pretty well!
You might want to consider renting a power washer from somewhere like Home Depot. They also have special soap that can help prevent regrowth. Just a heads up, be careful with the pressure setting to avoid damaging your siding!
I've had great success with a product called 30 Second Outdoor Cleaner. It's awesome for pretty much anything I've tried it on!
