I totally recommend getting an automatic watering system. Last summer, I forgot to water my garden a couple of times in that intense heat. My wife hooked me up with an automatic on/off system for the sprinkler, which has been a lifesaver! Now I can sip my coffee indoors and watch the plants thrive without worrying about watering them manually.
