Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out how to manage sawdust while woodworking since my space is pretty limited. I can temporarily park my car outside and work in my single car garage, but I always end up with a ton of sawdust to clean up. I've also tried working on my patio, but the dust goes everywhere and it's a hassle to clean. Any tips on how to keep the sawdust under control without having to move to a bigger house?

One option is to park your car in the garage and work in the carport, but that might not solve the clean-up problem. Consider using drop cloths to contain the sawdust area. You can also attach a dust separator to a shop vac to make a big difference in keeping your workspace clean.
I’ve got a setup with a shop vac and a cyclone dust separator. It handles sawdust like a champ, and I rarely find any dust making it into my car. Best investment for my garage woodworking!
That sounds like exactly what I need! Do you have a picture of your setup? I'd love to see it!
A leaf blower works wonders for clearing out fine dust. After you clean up, just fire it up to blow all the leftover dust out of the garage. It's surprisingly effective for maintaining a clean space!
That sounds awesome! I also use a box fan to push dust out after sanding, it really helps!

Great idea! I think keeping the workspace contained would really help, plus those separators work wonders.
