Hey everyone!
I'm new to the whole DIY scene and need your advice on purchasing my first drill set. I'm moving into a new home, and I have to take apart a bunch of furniture like cupboards and sofas. Honestly, I wish I had a drill all along instead of just using a regular screwdriver, as it would have saved me tons of effort!
So, I've been eyeing these two items: the [DeWalt Drill Kit](https://www.screwfix.com/p/dewalt-dck2060m2t-sfgb-18v-2-x-4-0ah-li-ion-xr-brushless-cordless-twin-pack/362JT?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiArKW-BhAzEiwAZhWsIM_CggouKwcOx4VDHQWCpIRCTVuxg2oJdshWMryILWtKCcPU-5jOBBoCzcEQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) and the [DeWalt 100 Drill Bit Set](https://www.screwfix.com/p/dewalt-multi-material-drill-bit-set-100-pieces/13266?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiArKW-BhAzEiwAZhWsIP6aUtYoe6lavF3dWJkNTpbw0XN3elzghgMWfRurIEM64U1Q8iDIkxoCmYUQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds), but I'm not sure if the bit set includes hex head Allen wrench bits.
Any insights would be awesome. Thanks a lot!

Just a heads up, Dewalt kits typically don’t include Allen or hex bits. You can easily find those on Amazon if you need them.
Definitely watch some YouTube tutorials on the Dewalt DCF601. I absolutely love that tool; it’s made my projects so much easier, especially for furniture assembly.
If you're tackling cupboards and tight spaces, you might want to grab an impact driver with a right-angle attachment. It makes life so much easier! I usually use a drill for pilot holes and the impact driver for fasteners. Also, I'd recommend getting a 1/2" drill, a 1/4" impact driver, and an oscillating multi-tool—they're super handy! Got a Fanttik S1 Pro electric screwdriver from my mom, and I find myself using it a lot more for quick jobs. Good luck with your projects!
I'd recommend checking out the DCF601 kit for your needs. It’s solid for DIY, and you might also want to look into the Dewalt DWAX200 bit kit, which includes hex bits that you'll likely need for those furniture projects.

If you're considering other options, the DCD703 could be great too. It's compact like the 601 but comes with a drill chuck and some angle adapters for tricky spots.
