Are My Perennials Supposed to Be Sprouting Yet?

I planted some perennials last year, but I can't remember exactly what types they were. At this point in the season, should I expect most perennials to be showing signs of life? I didn't really do anything with them after they died back last summer; I just let them be. Should I be worried?

It's still early in the season! Some perennials might be peeking through, but many others will take a bit longer. Weather conditions play a big role in when they decide to show up, too.

True! I’ve noticed some fuchsias take ages to come back compared to others.

It really depends on the type of perennial you have. Some are already sprouting new growth while many others might not show up until later in the season. Don't stress too much just yet!

Yeah, it's a waiting game for sure! Some of my perennials take their sweet time.

I haven't seen any signs of life from mine yet either. My daffodils are just starting to bloom, so there's still time!
