I'm curious if anyone else has had a positive experience ordering plants from Etsy. I've tried three times now, but each time has been a disaster. The shop owners I've dealt with have been really unprofessional with poor communication. I ordered over a month ago and when I ask for updates on shipping, I either get ignored or vague responses about shipping dates that never happen. One shop promised to ship last week but didn't, and now it's Sunday and I still haven't heard anything. Another shop completely ignored my cancellation request until I pressed for it, then they responded quickly trying to persuade me not to cancel. I thought ordering plants from Etsy would be a good option since there aren't many local shops that carry what I want, but it's been a frustrating experience. Has anyone had better luck?

Honestly, if you're having so much trouble, just cancel your orders. Report the sellers to Etsy, though don't expect much action from them. Always use PayPal too; they tend to refund quickly if something goes wrong. Reviews can be misleading, so getting recommendations from friends or trusted sources can really help find good sellers.
I was close to ordering but heard so many horror stories about scammers on Etsy that I decided to pass. It seems like a lot of people have had bad experiences. Have you tried alternatives like Facebook Marketplace? I found some really interesting plants from local sellers there. Also, Costa Farms has great options and they ship!
I’ve had fantastic experiences ordering from a shop called StemEm. I love their selection and the quality is top-notch! I’ve been so happy with my buys that I have to stop myself from looking at their listings or I’ll end up overspending.
I've had a good experience ordering plants from Etsy twice! The key is to look for sellers with solid reviews. There are definitely some scammers, but if you take the time to check out feedback, you can find reliable sellers. Just play it safe and do your research before buying.
