How Can I Save My Leggy Seedlings?

I've been struggling with some leggy seedlings and I'm curious if anyone has successfully saved them. I've mostly seen suggestions to plant them deeper, but I'm looking for more detailed advice or personal experiences. What techniques have worked for you?

If your seedlings have developed adventitious roots, they're actually pretty easy to save! Just stick them deeper in the soil, or mound up more dirt around the stem if they're not ready for full planting yet. Tomatoes are a great example of this working well! However, for other plants, it depends a lot on the type, how droopy they are, and the conditions like nutrients and sunlight. You have to keep an eye on how rootbound they are too; a little is usually fine, but too much can really set them back.

Totally agree! This is solid advice.

So, for my leggy lettuce, am I good to just transplant it outside and hope it grows back strong?
