I'm looking for some ideas or recommendations on how to effectively hang baby strollers and skateboards in my garage. I'd love to avoid the basic method of just hammering in a nail. Do you have suggestions for simple DIY solutions or products that work well without breaking the bank? If you have any cool pictures, that would be great too!

I've been in the same boat! Instead of pounding nails, I found these heavy-duty utility hooks at a hardware store; just screw them into a garage beam and hang the stroller from the handle. They’re really sturdy and only about $5 each. For skateboards, I crafted my own wall mount using an L-shaped shelf bracket. Just install the bracket on the wall and it holds the skateboard perfectly. I wrapped some rubber from an old tire around the ends to prevent scratches and keep it from slipping. Also, pegboards are awesome for organizing! You can customize them with different hooks for all sorts of gear, and they'll be super useful as your child takes on more hobbies. Have fun setting up your garage!
Slat walls are definitely the way to go! They're so customizable and can adapt as your storage needs change. I put slat wall up in my garage last year, and it ended up being the best $200 I’ve spent; I can rearrange hooks for different items anytime!
I'd steer clear of pegboards personally; they're not great for heavy items. If something needs to hang, make a dedicated hanger and screw it into a solid piece of plywood. For horizontal items, a rolling toolbox is a great choice! If you prefer slat walls, they're decent but just make sure they meet your usage needs.

Awesome, thank you for the tips! That is helpful.
