I came across a Milwaukee M12 Pro Press being sold for $800. It's practically brand new, comes with all parts, including a battery and charger. I don't necessarily need it right now, but I'm wondering if it's too good a deal to let slip away. If I buy it, will it be okay to keep it in my garage until I need it? Are there any downsides to letting it sit unused?

You might want to think carefully before buying. Sure, it sounds like a sweet deal, but what if you never end up needing it? Tools left unused can sometimes develop issues, and by the time you need it, it might not even work. Plus, $800 is a lot to drop on something that may end up sitting in your garage. If you mainly work with copper piping, you might want to consider whether it’s really worth it. Many people find a propex tool more useful as it fits new construction better, which could be a more practical choice for most.

I actually deal with copper piping, and I can't switch to pex due to issues with rats from my neighbor's fruit trees. I recently spent $400 on a plumber to fix a leaky copper pipe, and I want to be able to handle it myself next time!
