I just installed a new Andersen 3000 series storm door, but it doesn't seem to open as wide as I expected. I thought it should reach a full 90-degree angle, but I'm falling short of that. I've included a few pictures of me pushing the door as far as it will go. I believe I've followed the installation instructions correctly, but could there be something wrong?

From what I see, it looks like everything is in place. If you want it to open wider, you should adjust the position of the closer where it's mounted to the door. That might give you the extra swing you're looking for!
I noticed something in picture 4. The mounting bracket on the door jamb seems to be on backward. If you flip it 180 degrees, your door should open about 1.5 inches more. That was the first thing I noticed when I looked at my door!
That's strange. I thought the instructions had it in the right spot.
I get what you're saying, but check out picture 3. It seems like the mount is pretty fixed in place between the storm door and the regular door.
