I'm curious about what fruit trees I can successfully grow in my area, specifically Zone 6b (Lancaster County, Nebraska). I've heard about apples and lemons, but I'd like to know your insights. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Citrus probably won’t thrive outdoors, but you’re good to go with apples, pears, cherries, peaches, apricots, and plums! You might wanna check out some gardening websites to find the best options for your zone. They provide great resources for finding the right fruit trees suitable for 6b.

You can definitely grow a variety of fruit trees in 6b! While citrus trees aren’t ideal for this zone, consider going for a dwarf Meyer lemon in a pot. Just make sure to bring it indoors during the colder months to keep it warm and safe!
