I'm dealing with wider boards that my bandsaw (which has a throat of 6-7 inches) can't handle. I'd prefer not to resaw by hand either. Can anyone suggest good reciprocating saw blades for this task? Just to note, I plan to use my circular saw to score a deep kerf on the boards before using the reciprocating saw. I don't have a table saw either.

I've successfully used a low TPI pruning blade before. You need to make that kerf first with your circular saw to ensure accuracy when you use the reciprocating saw for the middle cut. Without that initial score, it could be pretty messy!
This might sound a bit reckless, but it’s possible to do this if you’re careful and have a good jig. Just make sure to rip one side of the board, then flip it and cut the other side for a cleaner result. It's definitely safer than just using a reciprocating saw by itself!
You might want to consider hand tools after you cut to avoid any mishaps. Just be careful with those wide boards and the reciprocating saw – you don’t want to end up in the ER!
Honestly, I'd recommend a Ryoba or Kataba Japanese pull saw over a reciprocating saw any day. They’re safer and give better results, plus you can grab a good one for around 50 bucks. They just cut through wood like butter!
