I'm a mobile tire technician, specializing in commercial and industrial needs. I can't get enough of my M18 high torque impact wrench; it's great for handling tires even when I'm up two flights of stairs or 200 feet away from my truck. However, I still struggle with the weight of a 4-ton floor jack that I have to drag through construction sites, and it would be nice to not have to connect several air lines to use my air-over-hydraulic jack. So, I'm really hoping for a battery-powered hydraulic jack that can lift over 4 tons. I can't be the only one thinking this, right?

I actually just modified a scissor jack by welding a nut where the crank goes. You can use a nut that fits your most common lug size, or keep a specific socket with the jack. It’s a quick fix, but we definitely could use an efficient battery option!
I’ve been thinking the same thing for years! A battery-powered hydraulic jack would seriously change the game for us tire techs. It's about time they caught up with our needs!
