Hey everyone! I just bought my first home and I'm starting to do some final checks before closing, which is this Friday. I found a crack in the stucco during my walkthrough, and I'm a bit worried. Can anyone help me understand how serious this might be and if I should be concerned? Here's a link to the picture: https://imgur.com/a/S72Yo78

Definitely get a professional stucco inspection done before closing. It's better to address issues like this now rather than face bigger repairs later. Home inspectors can be hit or miss, so make sure it's checked out by someone reputable.
That crack looks concerning. The dark stain underneath it suggests that water has started to seep in, which might cause more problems if it’s not fixed soon.
I hope this is the only issue you find! A little silicone sealant should help prevent further water intrusion, but keep an eye on it.
Yeah, I think I might just need a small fix, but I want to be safe!

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll definitely push for that inspection.
