I'm curious about buying discounted succulents from Home Depot and wanted to know if anyone has had experiences with pests in these clearance plants. Are there specific issues I should look out for?

In my experience, those clearance plants can sometimes come with pests, but it really depends on the location. I’ve found that some stores have better luck than others, so it’s a bit hit or miss. Just make sure to give them a good inspection before buying and keep them quarantined from your other plants for a while until you're sure they're pest-free.

Yeah, I agree! Always good to keep a close eye on them, especially for mealybugs and scale insects that can hide pretty well.

Yes, from what I’ve seen, clearance plants often have some pest issues. Just the other day, I spotted fungus gnats in mine. I always recommend quarantining for a bit to keep your other plants safe.

Definitely can have issues. Even 'regular' plants can have pests, so clearance isn’t the only risk. I've seen fungus gnats pop up. My advice is to quarantine them for at least a couple of weeks before introducing them to your other plants. Prevention is key!

True! It’s just smart to be cautious. Better safe than sorry when it comes to pests.
