Help! I’ve Got a Leak in My Window—What Should I Do?

Hey everyone! I just discovered a leak in one of my windows after that crazy thunderstorm we had. Here's what I'm dealing with: I've got water dripping into the bottom corner of the sill inside, there's light moisture between the panes, and I noticed some stains on the outside of the window sill at the bottom. Does anyone have suggestions on what might be causing this and how I can fix it?

Sounds like you might have a problem with bad sealing around the window's exterior. I’d recommend installing some silicone sealant to fix that. It’s a straightforward solution and can help prevent more leaks down the line.

Have you checked if the weep holes at the bottom of the window are blocked? Those need to stay clear so that water can drain properly. If they’re clogged, it could lead to water building up and leaking inside.
