I've been struggling with painting my kitchen cabinets. There's so much cleaning, sanding, and priming involved—it's been a real challenge! I'm considering hiring professionals because it's just been so overwhelming. But, I'm curious about something: if I was working with brand new cabinets in a new house that have never been used (just a white paint job), would it be easier to repaint them? Also, would a pro charge less since the cabinets are new?

It really depends on the finish. A lot of new cabinets might have a laminate that’s tricky to paint. I’d suggest doing a quick scuff sand, applying BIN primer, then finishing up with enamel paint. Easy peasy! Just remember to let the paint dry and cure for a couple of weeks before using them.
This is exactly what I did with my bathroom vanity, and it turned out great! I’m planning to use the same technique for my kitchen cabinets soon.
