Pet-Friendly Succulents: What Can I Grow That’s Safe for My Cats?

I'm looking for suggestions on succulents that are safe for my cats because they keep munching on my plants. I've heard some plants are toxic to pets, so I want to avoid those. Any ideas?

You might want to consider Aeonium and Echeveria. They’re both non-toxic to cats, though be cautious with Jade plants since they are toxic! Make sure to check their health and safety before adding any to your collection.

Also, just wanted to add a resource that lists both toxic and non-toxic plants. Check it out to ensure any plant you consider is safe for your furry friends: [ASPCA Toxic and Non-Toxic Plants](https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/toxic-and-non-toxic-plants?field_toxicity_value%5B%5D=02). This can help you choose wisely!

I totally get it! I have four cats, and they've never shown interest in my succulents. I think succulents are just too thick and tough for them. However, softer ones like Echeveria might tempt cats, so keep an eye on those! It really varies from cat to cat, though.
