Hey everyone! I'm looking for some suggestions on low-maintenance plants for my garden. I live in 8a, but I often have migraines that make it tough to manage my garden regularly, like pulling weeds or watering. I really need plants that I can just set and forget after they're established. Any tips would be awesome!

I found a great tool called Native Plant Finder where you can enter your zip code to get plant suggestions. Native plants generally won’t need as much soil prep as others, but a little amendment can help them settle in better if you're up for it!
If you're in a tough climate, native plants are your best friend! They've adapted to survive in your area, so they’re way more resilient than non-natives. But yeah, knowing your exact location helps narrow it down!
Thanks for the advice! I’m actually in South Carolina, but I can find my zone. You’re right, non-natives can get out of control!
Check out this site to find your hardiness zone based on your zip code! For a solid low-maintenance option, try Autumn Joy Sedum. It's super hardy—I've had it in a pot with zero care, and it still bloomed beautifully! Just some quick pruning in spring is all it needs in terms of care.

That sounds perfect! I’ve played around with coffee grounds before, but I probably didn’t do it right.
