This morning, while cleaning one of our bathroom mirrors, my wife accidentally caused it to fall off the wall. Thankfully, she managed to catch it, and it's still in one piece. However, there were no clips or hardware holding it up, and it seems the adhesive let go. Now we have large black spots of adhesive on the wall. I'm looking for advice on how to securely reattach the mirror. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

First off, make sure to remove as much of the old adhesive as possible. You should definitely use an adhesive that's specifically rated for mirrors, as regular glue can damage the mirror's coating. You can also consider installing a J-channel to support the mirror or use mirror clips to hold it in place. Both options can be found at hardware stores like Home Depot.
I had a similar incident recently. I used a strong adhesive to attach the mirror and then built a wooden frame around it for extra support. I adhered the frame to the mirror and secured it to the wall with nails. I actually love the framed look and plan to do it in my other bathrooms as well!
Liquid nails could do the trick for reattaching your mirror. Just make sure to apply it evenly and give it time to set properly.

That sounds great! Do you have a picture of your framed mirror? I'd love to see how it turned out!
