Looking for Budget-Friendly Porch Underhang Material Ideas

Asked By User79x9! On

I'm on the hunt for some affordable yet aesthetically pleasing materials to use for covering the underhang of my porch roofing. Ideally, I'd like something that's easy to install since I plan to do it myself. Just to give you some context, my house was power washed last year, but only part of the underhang got cleaned up. I've attached a picture here for reference.

Also, if you're feeling adventurous, you could try out some faux wood panels. They can give off a nice cozy vibe and are pretty simple to work with. Plus, they usually come in a variety of colors!

That's a great option too! Definitely worth looking into for some character.

You might want to consider using vinyl beadboard or even plywood with a good paint job. Both options look nice and won't break the bank. Vinyl is especially low-maintenance and great for DIY projects!

I agree with the beadboard! It's a classic look and easy to install.
