I'm dealing with a stubborn dome light fixture in my kitchen that came with the house. It's the Luminosa 13.in. 2-light brushed nickel flush mount. I've removed the middle pin but I can still pull the entire fixture off without disconnecting the wires. The glass bowl turns freely without moving the metal frame, and despite my best efforts to twist it counterclockwise or clockwise (trust me, I've gone over 1080 degrees!), it just won't budge. I've even tried tapping it lightly with a rubber mallet and prying it with a screwdriver, but nothing seems to work. I'd hate to smash the glass and stand to lose a nice fixture, and I'm really hoping this can be a simple fix. I did manage to jiggling the wires and got it somewhat working, but I still can't remove the glass dome. Any ideas?

It might help to see some pictures of your fixture to understand what's going on better. Sometimes a visual can make a big difference in figuring out a solution. If you can, upload them to Imgur and share the link!
That metal piece around the center pin might be a crucial part to unscrewing the dome. Have you had a chance to try unscrewing that? It could be stuck on tighter than you think.
Yeah, I unscrewed that and the metal washer, but there seems to be a rubber piece glued to the glass underneath that’s causing issues.

Here's a link to the model I believe I'm dealing with. If it's wrong, I might just bite the bullet and get a new one. [Link](https://www.homedepot.com/p/13-in-2-Light-Brushed-Nickel-Flush-Mount-EFG8012A-BN/314009813?MERCH=REC-_-pipsem-_-323706482-_-0-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a)
