I have an LG lithium chemistry 9.6kWh battery connected to my solar setup. Right now, it's configured to discharge during peak hours when electric rates are highest due to demand. I inherited this system when I bought the house and own it outright, but I'm unsure how to change the discharge schedule. Can anyone guide me on how to do this? Thanks!

Could you let us know what type of inverter you have? That info might help others provide more specific advice.
You should definitely be able to change that! To do so, you'll need the owner's manual or programming guide for your system, as changes require reconfiguring the inverter. However, since you mentioned you're not familiar with this kind of setup, it might be best to reach out to the original installer for assistance if they're available. Just a heads up, some setups are pretty locked down and need a password to access the settings.
Thanks for the info! I've been trying to locate the inverter; it's a bit tricky for a newbie like me. I found the owner's manual online, but it seems I need to use an app to access the settings. I'll look into that!

Honestly, I'm not sure what type it is. I'm pretty new to all of this since it's my first solar system.
