What Crops Have You Decided Not to Grow Again?

I'm curious to know what crops you've tried growing that just didn't work out for you. For me, I'm done with onions and melons—onions take up too much space and all the melons just got eaten! Strawberries have been a bust too because the critters love them. How about you? What have you decided not to plant again?

I’m giving up on potatoes this year. Also, my expectations for strawberries are pretty low after being disappointed with them. I keep telling myself no more peppers, yet I find myself planting them every year! This year will be no different, haha!

I won't be growing mangosteen again. They’re just too pricey and really struggle with the summer heat here.

I’ve had it with acorn squash. I worked really hard to keep them safe from bugs, and the few I got ended up rotting too quickly. No more! Only growing butternut squash from now on.

Cucumbers just get eaten by bugs here in Florida, so I’m skipping them this time.

Cilantro bolts way too fast for me to make the most of it, so that's done for me. Anyone else feel the same?

Totally agree with you on that one!
