Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a specific adapter that will let me connect my pull-out kitchen sink faucet to an aquarium drain and fill kit. My faucet has a removable head that works in two modes, and I noticed that the pull-out hose has female threading inside that's about 27/32" or 55/64". The faucet head itself has male threading which looks to be around 3/4" or possibly a tad smaller at 23/32".
What I need is an adapter that fits the female threading in my kitchen faucet hose on one end and can connect to a 1-1/16 inch female threading on the other end to fit my aquarium kit hose. The adapter that came with my kit is too big to attach to my faucet's threading. Also, the other side of the adapter with the kit hose appears to be around 7/8" or 31/32". I'm not sure if I should measure from the thread ends or the inner diameter of the adapter. I'm definitely not very handy, so I'd appreciate any guidance you can offer for finding the right product. You might want to take the pieces you need to match up to a Home Depot or a similar store. Their plumbing department can help you find the right fit for your faucet hose and aquarium connection. They'll have a range of adapters to choose from, so it’s easier than figuring it out on your own!
