I recently bought a house in Italy that has an abandoned garden. It looks like it hasn't been taken care of for over 8 years, and it's pretty wild out there! I've noticed a lot of leaf growth from various flowers, like narcissus, wild orange lilies, tulips, and especially a lot of irises, but they're only producing a couple of blooms at most. The anxious part is my irises—they're completely taking over one side of the garden but only managed to produce 2 flowers. I'm really hoping to get them to flower more rather than just have a ton of leaves. Any tips on how to revive these plants?

It sounds like they might be overcrowded! Try digging some out to give them about 10-20 centimeters apart. This will help them have more space to grow and come back stronger.
