I found some seed packs at my local B&Q for just 10p, but they're close to their expiration date (2027). There are so many types available and I have plenty of space to grow food and flowers. I'm curious, do seeds actually expire, and how viable are they after their suggested date?

Seeds can definitely lose their ability to germinate over time, but that doesn't mean all of them will stop sprouting at once! If you're getting seeds for cheap, it's worth the experiment. Just keep in mind that older seeds might have a lower germination rate. So, if you're concerned, maybe plant a few extra to boost your chances.
