Hey everyone! I need to mount my TV and the instructions say I need a 7/32 inch drill bit. Unfortunately, my drill set only has millimeter sizes: 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm. Will any of these work for what I need?

You can actually use the 5mm bit. A 7/32 inch bit is approximately 5.56mm, so the 5mm should work just fine. Just be careful not to make the hole too big afterward!
Yeah, 7/32 converts to about 5.56mm. If you have both the 5mm and the 6mm, you could test them against the mounting hardware. The bit that fits the shaft best is the one you should use, but the 5mm will probably work well enough!
If you're drilling into studs, starting with the 5mm bit is a good call! It's slightly undersized, but that helps with a tight fit. Just make sure the hardware goes in snugly!
Perfect, that sounds like a plan!

Thanks, I’ll go with the 5mm then!
