I hope this isn't a silly question, but my partner and I bought a house a couple of years ago, and we recently noticed that the caulk (or is it grout?) where our countertop meets the wall behind the sink is starting to degrade. We're on a tight budget and can't afford a kitchen renovation right now. Should we go ahead and recaulk that seam to prevent moisture from getting trapped, or is it better to leave it as it is and risk more water damage? I'd appreciate any suggestions or advice you have!
