Hey everyone, I recently found out that someone dumped a bucket of Dawn dish soap mixed with water on my property while cleaning something. I have a lot of plants and trees on my 5-acre land, along with a creek nearby, but luckily they poured it pretty far from the creek. I've heard that Dawn soap can be bad for plants, so I'm worried about how this might affect my land, especially since I can't really access the area where it was dumped because it's down a hill with a lot of briars. Can anyone tell me how harmful this could be to my land and plants?

Dawn is generally safe for the environment. It's used for cleaning animals after oil spills, so it's designed to be pretty gentle. I think your plants will be just fine!
You don't need to worry too much! Since it was mixed with water, it's pretty diluted, and many people actually use small amounts of dish soap on their lawns during dry spells without any issues. It usually doesn't harm grass or plants at all.
