Why is my Jasmine Plant Dropping Leaves and Developing Brown Spots?

I'm worried about my star jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) because it's been dropping leaves and has some brown spots. Even though it's still producing new leaves, they look droopy. I live in London, and I'm not sure if I'm taking care of it right, especially since it's an outdoor plant.

It sounds like your plant might be finding the environment too dry, especially if it's indoors. Star jasmine can still tolerate some cold, but it usually thrives outside. Make sure it's getting enough humidity and water.

Ah! Gotcha thank you - it is outdoors we just weren’t confident it’s doing good - seems we’re doing all we can ?

It’s totally normal for star jasmine to drop older leaves as it grows new ones. As spring approaches, you might want to boost it with some seaweed foliar feed or compost to get it thriving again!

Thank you!

The brown spots and leaf drops can be signs of cold damage, especially in the winter months. Just keep an eye on the temperature around it, and make sure it’s not exposed to harsh winds.
