I'm thinking about buying a 2023 Milwaukee Insider that has a known stutter problem. If I do purchase it, am I able to send it back for a 2024 model or at least get a repair or upgrade? Also, do they still provide the revised 1/3 and 3/8 adapters with the better locking design for free if I fill out the form?

It really depends on where you buy it from. If you’re purchasing from an authorized seller, you have 5 years from the date you buy it to return it if you experience that stutter problem. Just make sure you keep the proof of purchase for those updated anvils because you’ll need it to get them for free. If you go for a second-hand option or buy from a third-party seller, you might run into some warranty issues. Personally, I wouldn't recommend buying this tool second-hand due to past problems with the early models and adapters.
Totally hear you on that! I’ve seen reports that the Insider ships with updated anvils now, so you might be covered even if you buy the 2023 model!
If your tool is still under warranty, you're definitely in luck! You can get the updated adapters for free as long as you fill out the necessary form. I'm not too familiar with the specifics of the stutter issue, though.
Yeah, I’d agree! I bought my battery charger and lights from a marketplace, but I always get my tools from Home Depot or other authorized sellers. I just want them to work right out of the box, and having to send a $400 CAD tool back just isn’t worth the hassle!
