I just moved into a new house and my backyard needs some serious TLC. There are vines that have taken over, sprawling across the fence and choking the grass. They even wrap around my lilies, making them harder to maintain. I've tried yanking them out by their roots, but they just keep coming back. Is there a way to get rid of these invasive vines without damaging the lilies, or should I consider temporarily relocating them to make the job easier? Any tips would be super helpful!

Vines can be really stubborn! Just pulling them out usually doesn’t do the trick since their roots can go really deep. You might need something stronger like a targeted herbicide, but make sure it won't touch your lilies. If you can, try injecting some vinegar right at the base of the vines; it’s a more natural option that might help! Just be cautious about how close your flowers are to the vines when you do this.
