I'm working on a project and need to extend a wood bar top to reach 12 feet. I found a nice chevron-patterned piece at Lowe's, but unfortunately, it only comes in 8-foot sections. Does anyone know if there's a clamp or method to effectively glue these pieces together?

You could try using KV joint fasteners; I've used them for building a butcher block countertop from Lowe's materials. They're a bit tricky, but with patience and the right precision, they can work great. I recommend using three per joint, but getting a level surface is the key challenge.
For my bar tops, I usually go with biscuit joints on both pieces. After aligning them, I hammer them together and then use pinch dogs from the underside to pull them tight. Super effective!
