Hey everyone! I'm looking for some guidance on repainting my bathroom since the old paint is peeling in several places. Do I need to use anything special to remove the old paint? Definitely looks like mold to me. You don't need to hire a remediation company unless you have allergies. Just take some precautions: seal off the HVAC vents and other areas while you work, and set up a fan blowing out of the window. Then you can modify your mold solution—either vinegar and water or borax with water should do the trick. And remember to finish off by using a satin finish paint!
